Just finished visiting with an Elder, He’s a WWII vet and missing a leg, were going to get him what little food we can due to lack of funding….
Uncle taught me today
“The harder it gets (as long as we don’t whine around or complain) the more you can do for Creations People, remember nephew the ten digits are Creations.”

Uncle shared a teaching I will never forget

In the check out line.
Not allot but we were able to get uncle enough food for a few days anyway.
Got some baked chicken n vegies for uncle for dinner tonight.

At least we were able to get him the backed chicken he asked for.
Uncle shared a teaching I will never forget…. “I lost my leg in the war, many have it allot worse. Never feel sorry for me, you’ll miss the teachings involved in those going without. Are people have always cared for and taken care of one another, when someone is wounded or going without like me, we are blessed because the Holy’s chose us to help inspire you.”
